Values & mission
Five principles. None of them optional.
- 01.
We build for the patient whose specialist is far away.
Praneya exists because a clear, plain-English understanding of your own heart should not depend on your postcode, your income, or how close you live to a tertiary cardiology unit. We build first for the rural town with one GP, the indigenous community without a cardiologist for two hours' drive, the patient holding lab results with no one nearby to translate them. If a feature does not move us toward that audience, we do not build it.
- 02.
We refuse to pretend we are a doctor.
Praneya is a wellness companion, not a medical device; your clinician makes medical decisions, and every insight is attributed to Praneya because named product accountability is more honest than a faceless label.
- 03.
We insist that calm beats precision theater.
A heart app can use a wall of color and still leave a person anxious. We use calm language, accessible contrast, and no panic fonts. Just enough structure to support the next small action.
- 04.
We follow peer-reviewed guidelines, not trends.
Published heart health science, transparent limitations, and clinician review keep us honest on where the evidence actually stands, and where it doesn't yet. If a claim isn't backed by a published reference or clear product boundary, it isn't in the product.
- 05.
We build for the hour after the consultation, not the clinic.
The cardiologist leaves the room with a plan. The patient leaves with a pile of numbers and a month until the follow-up. Praneya is for that month. Track. Reflect. Arrive at the next appointment already on the same page as the clinician.
