Values & mission
Five principles. None of them optional.
- 01.
We build for the patient whose specialist is far away.
Praneya exists because specialist-depth understanding of your own heart should not depend on your postcode, your income, or how close you live to a tertiary cardiology unit. We build first for the rural town with one GP, the indigenous community without a cardiologist for two hours' drive, the patient holding lab results with no one nearby to translate them. If a feature does not move us toward that audience, we do not build it.
- 02.
We refuse to pretend we are a doctor.
Praneya is a wellness companion, not a medical device. We don't diagnose. We don't prescribe. We don't replace a single moment of clinical care. Every insight attributes to Praneya, never to a generic intelligence acronym, because a named attribution is honest where an anthropomorphic label is not.
- 03.
We insist that calm beats precision theater.
A heart app can use 12 different colors and still leave a patient anxious. We use four. Sage-green for optimal. Blue-gray for borderline. Warm-amber for intermediate. Muted-rose for high. No traffic-light red. No panic fonts. Just enough signal to act.
- 04.
We follow peer-reviewed guidelines, not trends.
ACC/AHA. ESC. PCE. MESA. NHANES percentiles. CKM 2024. Clinical advisors keep us honest on where the science actually stands, and where it doesn't yet. If a claim isn't backed by a published reference, it isn't in the product.
- 05.
We build for the hour after the consultation, not the clinic.
The cardiologist leaves the room with a plan. The patient leaves with a pile of numbers and a month until the follow-up. Praneya is for that month. Track. Reflect. Arrive at the next appointment already on the same page as the clinician.
